At Found My Animal they like sourcing close to home. All their rope and leather collars are hand-made in Brooklyn, NY from domestic leather and US manufactured marine-grade rope. All hardware is 100% solid brass. Attached to each collar is a stamped FOUND tag to help remind us of our animal's rescue past.
The collars are hand-spliced to withstand thousands of pounds of pull with the ends then "whipped" (an old nautical term) for additional durability.
